Enjoy the short but scenic crossing to the bustling fishing village of Mallaig. Spend a little time exploring this charming harbour town before boarding one of the most iconic rail journeys in the world—the Jacobite Express Steam Train. Travel through spectacular Highland scenery and cross the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, made famous by the Harry Potter films.

After breakfast, aboard the train along the spectacular West Highland Line from Fort William to Glasgow. This unforgettable route takes you through some of Scotland’s most dramatic scenery, from the towering peaks of Glencoe to the vast wilderness of Rannoch Moor, before tracing the edge of Loch Lomond. Your journey concludes in Glasgow — though if you’d prefer to finish in Edinburgh, it’s just a short 45-minute train ride further east.
