GoRailTours Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings made with GoRailTours. By booking a tour with us, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Booking and Payment

• To confirm your booking, a deposit or full payment is required, depending on the package.
• Final payment is due no later than 30 days before the departure date unless specified otherwise.
• We accept payment by credit/debit card, bank transfer, or other agreed-upon methods.
• All prices quoted are in the local currency and include VAT unless stated otherwise.

3. Changes to Bookings

• If you need to make changes to your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee availability.
• Any changes made within 7 days of departure may incur additional charges.
• If you wish to cancel or modify your booking, cancellation fees may apply. Refer to the Cancellation section below for further details.

4. Cancellations

• Cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you need to cancel your booking, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to find a suitable solution. Please note that cancellation fees may apply depending on the timing of the cancellation and the specific circumstances.

5. Travel Insurance

• We strongly recommend that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical emergencies, and loss of personal belongings.
• GoRailTours is not responsible for any costs incurred due to delays, cancellations, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Rail Passes and Tickets

• All travel tickets and rail passes are provided as part of the tour package and are subject to availability.
• GoRailTours is not responsible for any delays or cancellations caused by the train operators.
• Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable once issued.

7. Accommodation

• Accommodation included in the package is subject to availability and may be substituted with a similar or upgraded option.
• Room configurations and types are subject to the hotel’s availability and are based on the number of people per room as per the booking details.
• GoRailTours cannot guarantee any specific room requests such as bed configurations or room locations.

8. Responsibility and Liability

• GoRailTours strives to ensure all activities and services meet the highest standards. However, we are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damages that may occur during the tour.
• Participants are expected to follow all safety instructions and guidelines given during the tour. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from certain activities without a refund.
• GoRailTours is not liable for any third-party actions or events outside our control, including strikes, weather disruptions, or transportation delays.

9. Behavior and Conduct

• You are responsible for your conduct during the tour. We reserve the right to remove any passenger from the tour if they behave in a manner that disrupts the experience of other travelers or violates local laws or regulations.
• No refunds will be provided for passengers removed due to misconduct.

10. Privacy Policy

• GoRailTours collects personal information for booking and operational purposes only. We respect your privacy and ensure that all personal data is handled securely in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

11. Force Majeure

• GoRailTours will not be held liable for any failure to perform its obligations due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, government action, natural disasters, or other events of force majeure.

12. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which GoRailTours is registered, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that country.

13. Amendments to Terms

• GoRailTours reserves the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be communicated to all customers who have bookings with us at the time of the amendment.
